The December Holiday Party, which has been relocated from Birmingham to\u00a0<\/span>Double Springs<\/b>\u00a0(<\/span>due to Hampton Inn\u2019s planned renovations<\/i>). So we will now gather on\u00a0<\/span>Dec 9th<\/b>\u00a0in the Banquet room for dinner at the\u00a0<\/span>Lakeshore Inn & Marina<\/span><\/strong> [ 364 Lakeshore Lane <\/span>Double Springs, AL;\u00a0<\/span>(205) 489-2462<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0].\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Happy hour will commence in the mid-afternoon<\/b><\/span>\u00a0as folks wander into the Goldiggers Lounge with college football on the screens.\u00a0We\u2019ll move to the big Dining room @6PM.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Obviously, if traveling from out of the area, rooms can be reserved for the weekend or simply for Saturday night\u2019s gathering. Be sure to say you\u2019re meeting with the\u00a0BMW M\/C Club of Alabama<\/b>\u00a0when you select the room you want. If we get enough room reservations {>10}, we\u2019ll get a group discount of 10%. An RSVP to yours truly would also be most helpful.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll set up a buffet line that all can go through once in that meeting room beside the lobby.\u00a0<\/span>A standard meal is $14.95 for one meat, two veggies, roll or cornbread, a dessert item, and iced tea or H2O.<\/b>\u00a0 Another option is $17.95 for two meat selections: fried chicken, hamburger- steak, chicken tenders, or catfish (for all the big eaters]).\u00a0 In lieu of the club buying a HoneyBaked ham,\u00a0<\/span>the club will\u00a0subsidize dinner at $10 per person<\/b><\/span>; you make up the difference for your dinner choices plus your Goldiggers bar tab.<\/span><\/p>\n

As usual, we\u2019ll also have a Dirty Santa gift exchange for those wishing to share the joy of the season (<\/span>you decide on the price and variety, but liquors are always a popular swap<\/span><\/i>)\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

According to our by-laws, we need to come up with another Board of Directors slate of candidates. I\u2019m available to remain your president if so desired. Karen can also continue as the secretary, but Jeanne is looking to step down as the forever Membership\/Treasurer officer.<\/p>\n
