Credit Card Entry Help

On occasion, members will have problems on the Credit Card Entry page. Here are a few examples of problems people have experienced in the past. Please scroll down the page for different examples.

If you are still experiencing problems after reviewing this help page, please send an email to webmaster@bmwmoal.org and include the error message that is displayed. You will receive an alternate payment link to complete payment. You will not be required to retype the data you have already entered. Although not a requirement, it would be very helpful if you could include a screen shot of the error message.


Make sure your data is entered in the proper field on the form. The field label is listed under each field. Because the heading (Credit Card *) is above the first field, some people will place their credit card number in the first field instead of their first name. See the image below.

When an error is displayed, the complete credit card section is highlighted, but if you look in the lower left-hand corner, you will see the error message. In the image below, the credit card number is in error. In the next image, the card's expiration month is invalid.
